Description

"Lastly, she pictured ... herself a grown woman; and how she would keep, through all her riper years, the simple and loving heart of her childhood; and how she would gather about her other little children, and make their eyes bright and eager with many a strange tale, perhaps even with the dream of Wonderland of long ago; and how she would feel with all their simple sorrows, and find a pleasure in all their simple joys, remembering her own child‑life, and the happy summer days." - Lewis Carroll

I'M BAAACK! :iconlazeplz:
This is my entry for the Alice in Wonderland artbook contest for :iconrewritten-artbook:
I've been working on this on and off for about a month now while still trying to juggle exams, but I'm finally finished, and so is school. hallelujah. Happycry

The theme of the contest was wonderland redesigned but I skipped on more obvious themes and went for something more conceptual, so I decided to do Alice literally redesigning her own wonderland. I tried keeping the piece childlike and innocent with Alice painting her way into wonderland (creating the "rabbit-hole").
Overall, I'm pretty proud! It was only my second time using copics and there were lots of firsts and mistakes but it was a huge learning process nonetheless :D (Big Grin)
